Shopping.com offers you a tracker unique among pay per click engines. You can look at the Consumer Demand Index, which only the Shopping.com pay per click shopping engine offers, and track which keywords have risen in rank. On this pay per click shopping engine, the Consumer Demand Index displays the list of top 20 keywords. You can track from week to week which keywords have risen on the top 20 list, noted in green, and which have dropped, noted in red. For example, if you bid on “ipod shuffle,” since your pay per click advertising targets iPod users, and you discover that two weeks later “ipod shuffle” has dropped five places, you may want to bid on “ipod.”
