Although a pay per click affiliate program is an affordable way to promote your site, it does require careful analysis and testing. You will want to write your description carefully so that you attract the highly targeted traffic sure to buy on your site without drawing in customers who aren't right for your products. Bid on logical words – see what converts and what doesn't – and cut out the words that aren't working. You won't be profitable until you eliminate the words that generate lots of clicks but no sales. Through careful affiliate program management you can determine how much are you paying vs. how much the new visitors are spending, and decide what you are willing to pay per click-through to your website.
