There are a few dangers in pay per click affiliate programs, but all of them can be avoided with careful planning and affiliate tracking. First, make sure your keywords aren't attracting people who click to your site but have no interest in buying. Make sure your keywords are attracting the customers you desire. It is best to start with a few strong, targeted keywords and see how the search engine performs in terms of the traffic it delivers and how well that traffic converts into paying customers. Make sure that you have a method in place that allows you to track return on money invested. And, be sure to monitor your position on your partner website: new bids can lower your position.
